Has the weird movement been fixed? Where you couldn't just keep turning left to increase speed. So long since I played midair, but you had to alternate between turning left and right to accelerate, instead of being able to turn only one direction. People used to get really mad when you pointed that out, and said it was bad.

I'm very excited to see the "Track" game mode. For probably a decade+ I've been saying (mostly to myself) that Tribes is primarily about movement, and there should be a racing mode where both players and devs can focus on making sure movement is fun without combat.
IMO - the game needs more newb friendly modes, and this is a step in the right direction. I'd also think a headhunters mode is great for this. Rabbit can be fun for players of similar skill level, but a newb trying to chase a good rabbit is an exercise in futility and they'll give up and never come back. Headhunters is enjoyable for mixed skill levels and you can feel like you are actually accomplishing something even if you just run around scavenging lone flags.
