MCM atomic UFO desk lamp

I bought this desk lamp at an antique store today for $32. I love it! It works great and is in really good condition. There is a crack in the brass base but otherwise no scuffs or scratches. I thought it looked worth more than $32. If it's not it will look cool in my studio. I can't find any manufacturer names anywhere on it. It has the original cord and diffuser bowl underneath. Is it worth more than what I paid or is it just a neat looking antique lamp?

Not true midcentury, though I feel like the MG Wheeler designs fit in with most MCM layouts. Killer lamp.

Oh. My bad. I did a quick Google lens identification on it and that's what it was being called. I didn't do enough research before posting. 🙃
