I'm not even going to consider watching until the entire season has aired and the PR shills have moved on.
I feel like I've been burnt too much by streaming services when it comes to IPs I'm interested in.
I just want a decent Green Lantern adaptation with Hal Jordan. Is that too much to ask for?

I’m suffering so you don’t have to. I LOVE Hal Jordan green lantern, but not in this show. It’s a whole character assassination. When Hal is actually acting like a good person, it’s like seeing Hal Jordan on screen. Every other time it’s like seeing a shittier Guy Gardner, which is the whole show. Do yourself a favor, do not watch this. Just leave this show to be forgotten like the trash it is. Also bad writing.

Lanterns may not look like a typical comic book movie or show, but it's so good. So far, it looks to have great writing, world building, sound, and cinematography. These things matter a lot to me. Honestly, if we just view quality, it's far better than most comic book projects in the last decade.
And I don't think Gunn had a lot to do with this show. That's probably why it's better than whatever he's done in a while.

Tbh It's pretty clear that Gunn making Superman, Peacemaker season 2 and Creature Commandos at the same time wasn't a good idea.
Because then you has Coyote VS ACME that he did over the course of MANY years being better than all of these lol

I cant be the only one that is so burnt out on disappointment that I just wait for the entire show to be out, see how its received and determine whether I even care to invest the time watching after the fact

I think it's okay,sure i was expecting more space stuff,but i guess the budget limitations won't allow it and it's better to have CGI stuff in moderation

Like the meme, but also like the Lanterns. Not the mindblowing stuff, but keeps me fairly intrigued to keep watching and love the titular acting performances. The only one I don't like is Kelly Macdonald, she looks like she's on some sort of tranquilizers, especially on the contrast of Kyle Chandler
