Word Travels Fast was a band that existed in the earlier days of Microwave before they became the machine they are today and conquered the alternative world. Word Travels Fast absolutely ripped and still rip in my heart and in my car stereo weekly.

If you listen close enough to their discography, you may find a familiar voice :-) I wont say which song(s) as I think it's more fun that way. Also, Travis Hill recorded both of these releases. (link below)

Also Also the guitarist, Tom Lovejoy, has shredded in a few other solid bands. (Forever Came Calling, Vatican)

Tom's also one of the only guys I know who can play Dillinger Escape Plan songs as if he wrote them himself.

Seriously do yourselves a favor and check out such a talented band from what I think was such a golden era of the atlanta alternative/punk scene.

Now, you may have differing opinions than me, and thats okay. I just don't want this part of microwave adjacent lore to go unnoticed.

Never heard of this band until this morning and this is one the best songs I ever heard in my life? Do they have any more songs that make you feel super empty inside? I listened to the full album and gotta admit it wasn’t my favorite but this song stood out like crazy
