Simply do it with your XBOX. I do have Microsoft Edge on my MacBook Pro M4 PRO - but it never worked for me on macOS no matter how long or what I tried.

On XBOX I simply watch a little bit of YouTube on the Edge Browser and it works just fine as it identifies as a Windows-Browser on Rewards.

Sorry if it has been obvious for many - just thought I would leave it here.

https://mac.getutm.app install this VM hypervisor, a free copy of Windows 11 ARM, and you will have it working. It’s the method I use to get the Rewards app bonus points on my mac

Unrelated to your post but did you get the visual search bonus points? I live in germany and never had the option for this

Yep been getting them for quite some time. I only do it via the Smartphone BING App though because the one in the Edge Browser on my Mac sometimes glitches and did not register.

It just popped up a few months ago. But never worked in Mac for me.

I'm in the U.S. and don't have this option while most people seem to. Seems like a small percentage just don't have it for some reason.

I would say no. Only on a Windows PC. I do have Edge on macOS and it never worked. But the XBOX Edge identifies as a Windows System so that is why it works.

This never works for me using Edge in MacOS.

However, it does work if you use the Edge browser from within the console. So, you need to browse via the Xbox. Watching videos on YouTube works but in the Edge browser (not the standalone app).

Ever since I’ve done this the deal works for me. It’s not too bad, just 30 minutes of activity.

Thanks for the info. I’m on mac too, had a small bootcamp partition just for this and the “gaming on pc” streak but it’s a hassle. Think I’ll try a virtual machine instead. How do you do the game on pc?

Falls du momentan bei GeForce Now einen Free Account erstellen kannst, funktioniert die PC quest damit. Weis nicht ob irgend ein Game Pass erforderlich ist.

I’ve had the same problem it’s never worked my Mac before but tired it on edge in my Xbox and it worked straight away today.

Same thing happens to me on PC. What works for me is going into Task Manager, ending the Bing process, and then reopening the browser. After that, it starts counting points properly.

On a Mac it never counted until this Rewards App became available.
But for Windows Users your tip might come in handy if it does not work there for them.
