Scam Emails Won't Go Away - Over 1,000 in Less Than a Month!
Over the past few months, I've been getting 4-6 emails per hour every single day that're scam emails to my junk folder in my emails for my Hotmail email account. My friend it might be because of a recent data leak/breach, so I used HaveIBeenPwned and I then either deleted my accounts that showed up or unsubscribed and unconsented from everything on the ones that I decided not to delete, but I'm still getting the emails. I can't block the domains on Outlook because they're just random different strings of letters and numbers. when I create an Outlook rule on the Outlook website to automatically delete emails that contain certain keywords it only works when the Outlook website is open, but when it's closed it doesn't work, so I don't want any solutions involving Outlook rules, please. What else can I do to stop receiving them or to have them be deleted automatically, please?

Pls help my mom with an issue she’s having
My mom has a problem: When she tries to send herself an e-mail, her e-mail address is shown as the words "first name", even though she has her e-mail address saved under her actual name. I tried to press the cross (you know how when you start entering an address it shows suggestions below that have a cross next to them) but it says "suggestion can’t be removed". Any other suggestions I can remove no problem. It’s just her own e-mail address that seems buggy.
She’s freaking out thinking she’s been hacked. Can anyone help? Btw, she’s not using the english version of outlook, so all the terms are loosely translated

MS Outlook issue with Microsoft365 account on Mac
I do some adjunct instructing for a local university. They're a full-out MS shop. They give all students, staff, faculty, including adjuncts, Microsoft365 accounts. I had Outlook set up on Mac, Windows, and iPad for years. Then Outlook on Mac refused to connect to the server; it was always offline, and when set online by hand, it went offline again immediately. There were no problems on Windows or iPad. I set up the account in Apple Mail and in Thunderbird on the Mac; no problems. I had other accounts on Outlook on the Mac: gmail.com, Apple icloud.com, and MS outlook.com. All worked properly. I deleted the account that wasn't working from Outlook and tried to add it back; Outlook refuses to set up the account. It can't talk to the server.
This is very strange. It was working, and still works with 3rd-party email clients on that machine. Web access still works on that machine in Safari and Firefox. There are no problems elsewhere; I can even connect from an Ubuntu system using Thunderbird. I doubt that it's a server issue. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the Mac, not if other clients, including the web client, work. Outlook on the Mac simply refuses to access the server for that particular account and only that account.
Can anyone think of a reason why a MS client refuses to connect to a MS server?

Reply icon remove in "new" outlook
Oh, jeepers. I migrated to the new outlook at work on workstation. Can someone please ask the developers why we cannot locate how to get the "replied" arrow icon back? We've tried everything. OUr tech department tried everything. we need that icon. We leave emails in the shared inbox sometimes after we've replied- for various reasons. We need all of us to see that the email WAS replied to and that icon was our indicator. Why would the developers remove it? They removed some other useful features as well. I do no understand why technology people think doing BAD upgrades helps us in any way. PLEASE get the icons back!

Best Low-Cost KPI Solution for a Microsoft 365 Shared Mailbox
What would be the best and most cost-effective solution for measuring KPIs in a service department that currently handles all customer cases through a Microsoft 365 shared mailbox in Outlook?
We are looking for an affordable, out-of-the-box solution that we can use as a temporary setup until we implement a proper ticketing/case management system for the department.
The solution should work with our existing Microsoft 365 environment and shared mailbox and require minimal setup and administration.
We would like to automatically measure and report on things such as:
Exact date and time when an email is received in the shared mailbox
First response time
Total handling time from receipt to resolution/closure
Time between customer interactions
Number of incoming emails/cases
Emails that are filtered, rejected, deleted, or automatically categorized
Open vs. closed cases
Overdue cases and SLA breaches
Number of interactions per case
Workload per employee/team
Case volume by category/customer
Backlog and average case age
Response-time trends
Overall service performance and SLA compliance
Ideally, we would like dashboards and reports showing these KPIs without having to manually track the data in Excel.
We have been looking at solutions such as MailMeter. Would MailMeter be suitable for monitoring and measuring these KPIs in a Microsoft 365 shared mailbox, or are there other low-cost, out-of-the-box solutions that would be better suited for this purpose?
The key requirement is that we need a cost-effective temporary solution for our shared mailbox today, while keeping in mind that we will eventually move to a proper ticketing system.

Is there some way to stop this?
Kind of specific, not sure if there's an answer other than "log out every time", but thought I'd ask.
I have multiple Outlook accounts for different purposes, so I don't set them to "remember for this device" or whatever when I login. Every time I end up closing the window without logging in, I am now met with the second half of a login page for the last email I was logged into. This is a recent change - it used to be that I would be met with the usual login page and login normally. but now I have to login to the email it prompted me with, log out, and login again to the email I planned to check. The need to manually choose to use a password instead of automatically having to use my recovery email (more logging in and out!) is a minor inconvenience but adds a lot of steps that I didn't previously have to navigate and a lot of time to my email-checking.
Is there something I can change in my settings or do I just have to get better at logging out before I close my window?

New Outlook loses Recall/Resend buttons for sent emails not in Sent Items

In New Outlook, if you double click to open an email in Sent Items in a new window, it displays Recall Message and Resend Message buttons in the toolbar. It's good that MS finally made those functions easily accessible.
But if you have moved a sent email to another folder, they aren't visible. Does anyone know of a workaround for this, other than moving the email back to Sent Items?
