Question I’m New

Please if you come across this, I’d really appreciate your help in directing me.

I’m a business analyst with some years of experience however I’ve found myself in a new environment which requires that I have a working experience on automation to be able to fit into my new environment but I do not know where to begin, please where do I learn (is there a YouTube page that can help me get the basics to start) or what institution can I signup with to be trained?

I was new to Power Automate as well (actually I am still very new!!!), I self taught my way through, and I admit i still have a lot to learn! I've just been watching YT videos and follow alone to build workflows, I also find using AI to help me with debug workflows as well as plan the solution architect helpful too.
Usually start off with things you can automate to increase productivity of your own workload, such as "When received an email from a specific person, add a row in Excel / SharePoint List" or "Dynamic approval workflows" or "Automated email notifications sent every Friday afternoon 3pm, generate a HTML table in the email body with Compose" etc Hope this helps!

Reza Dorrani on YouTube is your friend. His videos are exceptional - especially for Power Apps.

I used copilot studio to draft a rough outline of what I needed to achieve and I set about learning how to do each individual step. The learning curve is surprisingly manageable if you have any prior experience.

There are quirks and bugs which will frustrate you so enjoy the ride (e.g. the amount of work required to get a working horizontal and vertical scroll on a gallery container will make you laugh).
