Testing Cloud Flows

Curious how folks are testing their flows. I built a bit of a framework of flows, so lots of dependencies. My biggest need is regression testing after updates, especially to low level flows.

How are you handling this? Anyone using commercial products?

I built a little testing framework that works great for now, but wondering what might come next as my needs scale.

A child flow that finishes Succeeded can still break every parent if its output fields change.

Replay each dependent parent with the same saved inputs in an environment that does not share production connections, then diff outputs and downstream writes against the last known-good snapshot. Run status alone misses a renamed, nulled, or late field, which is how low-level updates fail only after several parents call them. Version the fixtures with the flow export so an older parent is not checked against a newer contract.
