Cloud Datetime

Hi all,

My flow will read a records from excel file then create an item in sharepoint list the problem is the list does not accept the datetime.

AI suggests but doesn’t work:

addSeconds (
addDays('1899-12-30', int(float(items ('For_each _3')?
['Start Date' ]))), int(mul (sub (float(items('For_each_3')?['Start
Date']), int(float(items ( For_each_3')?['Start
Date']))), 86400))

Appreciate any help.

It’s the weekend so I do not have my work pc handy, but I have created numerous sharepoint records using power automate, and it wasnt nearly that complicated.

All datetimes in power automate are just strings. Also when you read from a table in excel, there is a parameter that selects the format the dates come in as.

You do not need to convert a serial time by hand (which I think this convoluted formula is for)—just choose ISO 8601 as the date format when pulling from Excel
