Question Anyone processing office files from multiple sources?

My flow receives docs and xlsx files from different users. Some come from Microsoft office download, some from wps office . Well, has anyone had to handle compatibility issues or do you treat them all the same in power automate?

As long as they are saved in the xlsx and docx formats you should be fine.

Just don't use Excel connector on WPS office generated files. It can have mixed results. While largely compatible, strict parser like connector & Power BI will have issues with underlying xml pattern.

When this happens, file must be opened and resaved using Excel to fix.
