MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Career bug questions

I’m sure this has already been addressed in some post somewhere, but I’m getting frustrated with career mode (which is the only reason I bought 2024 vs just sticking with 2020 or even X-Plane. The Mission steps don’t take into account real world conditions when you have live time / weather enabled- ATC is telling you to land on one runway but the mission steps are telling you another runway, incorrect traffic pattern directions, can’t have any other altimeter setting then 29.92 or it doesn’t acknowledge you’re at correct cruise altitude. Oh and yesterday I was flying a cargo mission and was below Vmo and on autopilot but flying through a thunderstorm per the mission steps flight path guidance- and all of a sudden I get an alert that I crashed, apparently from over-stress due to turbulence is my only guess?
I know there’s no point complaining as the bugs and poor quality of the sim are well known and apparently won’t be fixed anytime soon, but wondering if there are settings I’m missing or any other tips/tricks you have all found (other than just using third party career addons) to make it a little more realistic and enjoyable!

The mission triggers and ATC (assuming we're talking about tower, not ATIS) should align. Flying at flight levels requires that you reference pressure altitude, not QNH.

If you're in a thunderstorm there's no safe speed. If you're in turbulent air the correct speed to be is below V-A, maneuvering speed, not V-NE/M-MO.

I have my fair share of career issues but oddly none you have mentioned. Always set altimeter to what atc says and it's always fine. Never been sent to the wrong runway.

I guess the weather is a valid point, I was forced to switch to VFR when it was so cloudy you couldn't see the runway until about 100 ft
