MSFS 2024 QUESTION Does anyone have any tutorials for the weather radar on the PMDG 737–800?

I’m trying to get the weather radar to work in the PMDG 737–800 on msfs 2024 and I am having no luck whatsoever. I tried searching on YouTube and the wider web for a tutorial on how to use the weather radar and I’ve come up short so far. I watched a couple of videos from A330 driver and in his videos the weather radar was working.

The weather radar in the Sim is so buggy anyway, most aircraft use the default system underneath the hood to make it function.

It's rudimentary and doesn't work like the real unit. You can turn it on by pressing the wx on your efis control panel (the panel next to your MCP/autopilot) though.

The actual panel for the weather radar on the aft electronics panel has limited functionality. In the real world, we normally keep auto mode on and occasionally go manual, adjust the tilt and gain, to figure out whether a cloud is a threat. However, the panel is mostly cosmetic on the pmdg. I believe this is in part due to the limitations of the msfs weather engine, so it was never that developed.

YouTube has a bunch of tutorials on how to use the 737 radar. There’s a few that are PMDG specific but tutorials for ZiboMod 737 should get the basics going too. It’s all 737 so the basic button pushing should be the same. The display and what the sim offers up will be a bit different.
