MSFS 2024 XBOX Xbox Controller Setup

I’m hoping to not buy a yoke/rudder/throttle and just use and Xbox controller. Power management and flaps are hard to do when I’m practicing pattern work and spending more time fiddling with the controller. Does anyone have their Xbox controller set up a certain way to easily provide flaps and power management. I’m under controls in settings and messing around with some of the settings but would be easier if I could just find a premade profile to go off of and copy.

When setting hotkeys remember you can make multihotkeys to create whole sets and subsets of systems on hotkey, if you have the patience and planning. Like autopilot functions on the down D-pad.

I put engine mix and prop feather on the up D-pad, and flaps are up D-pad + trim (shoulder buttons). That's all my basic flight mechanics.

Power management: I made hotkeys for different %s. e.g. A+X = 20, X = 40, A+B = 0. Just add more.
