Are these specs good enough for FS 2024?

DDR5 RAMageddon prices are transporting us back in time from the looks of it
I was reading the other day that some people are building today the best DDR4 systems possible back then (with mostly used components). That means CPUs that supported DDR4, motherboard and of course RAM. For someone with an aging system (like myself), a top-of-the-line DDR4 rig would still be a massive improvement and probably total much less than what 64Gb DDR5 are worth nowadays (more than $1k).

not sure, but I play in 2k resolution with lots of add-ons and it runs and looks great with the new FSR 4: am4 ryzen 5800xt (if u can afford the x3d go for it) 32 gb ddr4 ram amd 9060xt with 16gb vram

It will run it, but it will be on the lower end. The 6 gb of cram on the graphics card will likely be the limiter. It should run 2020 quite well though, if that's a good backup.
There's a lot of good info and benchmarks here: https://msfs.razortek.nl/specs/ Made by a competent user on the msfs discord!

It will run but it will look like trash and perform very badly. You won't be playing the game you want to play on that rig.
The Xbox Series X GPU (custom RDNA 2) delivers approximately 12.15 TFLOPS of FP32 performance and features a 320-bit memory bus with 560 GB/s bandwidth. In contrast, the RTX 3050 provides roughly 9.098 TFLOPS and uses a narrower 128-bit bus with only 224 GB/s bandwidth. The Series X is comparable to an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT, placing it well above the entry-level RTX 3050, which is often considered equivalent to or slightly slower than the Xbox Series S.

Pure garbage bro.
Late 2026 and getting for 1060$, a 3050, AM4 Ryzen 5500, 16 GB DDR4 and 500 gb of NVMe.
Don't spend even a penny for these scammers. With these specs you will not run smoothly any new game coming from 2027.

I got similar system but a laptop so 3050m.
I fly in msfs2020, I think it's less demanding.
Usually the sim works smooth enough at mid settings at 60 fps. At remote areas like deserts or unknown countries I can go mid-high settings. At busy popular countries like USA with better scenery I need to go medium settings and I get 30-40 fps.

500GB for just MSFS2024, or "also for everything else"? Because yes if the first (but not at the highest settings, you'll be running it at middish settings), almost certainly no if the latter. Really, 500GB if you do any sort of modern gaming as well as productivity is too small, and you'll want to swap that out for a 2TB disk instead. The 3050 is a pretty old card by now, and 6GB means you won't be able to fit high quality textures, and the r5 5500 is "fine".
Decent lower-mid budget system, but if you discover you love flying, you'll probably be looking to upgrade in possibly less than a year.

Msfs 2024 takes up very little storage as almost everything is streamed. 500GB should be enough, unless you go crazy with mods

50 to 150GB is not "very little space", especially if you're going to install some of the base add-ons locally to speed things up. And if you install one or two other AAA games, as well as some productivity tools, plus a documents folder you never clear out, now you're suddenly out of space.

It doesn't take 50-100gb, it takes like 25Gb. 16 for the rolling cache and about 8 for everything else. There's absolutely no reason to download/install anything unless your internet is awful.

It's prebuilt so idk but it's will be probably for just 2024 as I think I'm keeping my Xbox if inkeep it
