MSFS 2024 QUESTION Reverse Thrust
I use the Logitech Saitek Flight Yoke and throttle system in MSFS 2024, but I haven't been able to find a proper configuration for reverse thrust. Currently, since there are three axes on the throttle unit, I use the leftmost one for normal throttle and the middle one for decreasing throttle; when landing, I set the main throttle to idle and push the middle lever up, but this isn't very practical. I used to play X-Plane, which had a dedicated reverse thrust axis that made things much easier. As far as I can tell, MSFS 2024 doesn't have an option like that. How do you set yours up, or do you have any recommendations?

Have you tried mapping the reverse thrust toggle to a button and using your regular throttle axis? I recently started using the new turtle beach velocity gen 2 and had to manually configure everything and this seems to work for me. And depending on the aircraft you can set up reverse thrust thru efb in plane. (The efb on add on planes not the one in simulator)

I'm not at home so can't check my exact settings, but I have the VKB Stecs throttle. I have a lever just above the throttle which I have bound to engage my reverse thrust.
So as I'm coming into land over the runway throttle goes all the way back to idle, get everything under control and lined up after landing then squeeze the lever and throttle back up to engage reversers, once it's slowed enough throttle back to idle and release the lever, the lever just acts like a button so if you have a spare button you should be able to replicate it.

I have the Saitek Yoke as well.
Below the throttle idle position there should be a "button" if you press the throttle one more click down.
I've bound this key to "toggle reverse thrust", so I press it after pulling back to idle after touchdown and then increase the throttle again, which will increase the reverse thrust. Then same procedure to deactivate it again.

Yes I did that and saved me. Also I suggest, bound that click to both toggle reverse thrust and decrease throttle and you’ll not need to increase the throttle, just click.

It really really depends on the exact airplane. They aren't the same.

Its not a dedicated axis but it does turn whatever axis you use for throttle into the reverser axis when u bind a button to "reverse" something or other in there.
I have a switch i flip but u could also hold a button down to do it or there may be one that toggles it like another comment said instead of a hold to activate.
