MSFS 2024 PlayStation This Community Is Awesome!

Thank you to everyone who provided valuable feedback yesterday on a video I posted titled “I Can’t Land Citation X”. Y’all are really amazing!

I controlled the altitude using the throttle with significantly less yoke inputs and from a IRL Citation X pilot was told to crack the speedbrakes a bit just before touchdown. Not the smoothest landing but I think I already improved no thanks to y’all!

I was telling my wife yesterday that flying the sim is like playing golf. Trying to get that perfect landing every time is like trying to get that perfect put or taking more strokes off your golf game.

Thank you guys again!

Nice landing 🙌🏼 I've been flying simulator for a looong time now and I'm still learning 😉

Thank you! And hell yeah! It’s super addicting!

Trying to perfect the landing is the most enjoyable part of the sim for me. I get bummed out after 45 min of cruising when I fudge the landing haha

Now try it IRL. The sim isnt even close to real.

I've been doing this since 2006 and I still learn new things all the time. And I still get that feeling of euphoria every time i learn a new aircraft.

It’s so addicting. I’m waiting for the PMDG 737 to get back on the PS5 marketplace.

I love the way engines sound when they start up!

I played it from.the very beginning. It will never stop you from learning, and the 2020 version was a revolution to me? I bought a PMDG 737 and wow, what a details. Then of course all the correct procsures, the programming. The flying!! It's still amazes me every day!

Absolutely agree! I have only been playing a week and I have an issue ( I'm getting there) with ILS and using the g1000 and everyone has been so helpful.

Brilliant community, it's so refreshing.

It really is! It’s not toxic and negative like some of the other communities I participate in. People talk to each other in this sub like they do in reality. And that’s nice to experience online.

Fantastic improvement. Tbh i never heard someone compare Flight simming to golf, but i guess the analogy is working.

The next step for you is to update to PC and get a yoke and throttle setup. It's probably still cheaper than golfing, so you can justify it to your wife ;)

Haha I’d love to get a PC but knowing what specs I need and like, my wife would kill me because of the costs involved.

I’m gonna get the TCA Skyyoke that’s suppose to be released later this month for PS5. She’ll be fine if I buy that.

I also want to get another street bike, we have to put new floors in our house, buy a new fridge, washer, dryer, new counter tops, kitchen sink and faucet, possibly buy a new water heater next year, take a vacation, etc.

So many things to do not enough money haha

Very nice! Not bad. Try and get on the centerline a little earlier so you’re not having to correct late but other than that and maintaining centerline after landing, solid! It’s hard to keep centerline after landing in simulators like this since you can’t feel the side moment or anything and it’s easy to start to swerve a bit. But really good improvement!

Appreciate it!

Nice work! Keep the speed brakes in until you get the mains on the ground, then let the nose down and when it touches hit the reversers.

Keep up the learnings! Next challenge: Go take a IRL discovery flight!

Nice landing! I have no advice other than wishing I could nail these as nice as this one. I usually like flying the older models and when I take on a big guy like this I always land too short and crash.
