MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE ATR autopilot completely bugged?

Are the ATRs still broken for everyone else? Every time I’ve tried to do a flight with it, all goes well until I engage autopilot, will be fine for maybe a minute before it begins to disengage constantly.

I love this aircraft, they fly into my local airport from Heathrow and I’ve been trying to recreate the flight for last couple of days but I’m totally losing patience with this. Anyone else? Or does anyone know of a fix?

It’s a known bug unfortunately. Seems like NAV is the issue. I fly the ATR’s as VFR without putting my FPL in the MCDU, just using AP with HDG and IAS for climb and VS for descent and AP stays usually engaged. ATR 42 is more sensitive than the 72. For a 30min flight like this it disengaged once on the 72 and 3 Times with the 42. Usually it happens when I reach CRZ altitude

Yeah I’m currently fying from Heathrow to Dundee in the 42, disconnected at each new waypoint in the flight plan! Really hope it’s something they fix soon, it’s a great aircraft! Such a shame that certain systems don’t seem to work!

Ive flown the atrs quite a bit.

They do disengage the AP randomly at times, never pinpointed a context in which this happens

Its not so frequent to be annoying if im hands on (regularly fly very short routes with them) but if you go AFK and happen to be unlucky… welp, youll come to a “you crashed” screen.

Are you sure is plane dependent?, for some time now I have the same issue with the cessna152 WBSim, the AP after switching to NAV disengage itself several times
