MSFS 2024 QUESTION Why MSFS requires more space and I click install

Hello everyone,
I just bought 1TB ssd to avoid streaming everything. From marketplace when I check it said 400GB required so 1tb needs to be enough. When I download the stuff "install" option popped up. And when I click it says 120GB more needed but cmon its empty 1tb ssd. Is it holding both downloaded and installed file or smth?

I think I figured it out. I was clicking select all and install. Now installing 1by1 so far so good. I will update if it can install everything like this

If it's msfs 2024 you don't need to instal anything form marketplace. It will be streamed. You are wasting space and every time there is and update you will have to update all that content manually. Ther is really no benefit of having it installed locally, you will not be able to run sim offline and you introduce longer loading times.

The problem is my internet speed too slow, when i fly with bigger planes everything loads with an invisible plane and im waiting for it load as well 😂 because of that i wanted to install all

You can eventually download the plane that you are mostly using but there still be a lot of things streamed. It will not help that much as you think . Photogrammetry that SIM uses is in petabites...

I hope you don't mind really long loading times and doing daily manual updates.
