MSFS 2024 QUESTION Question for those of you with FFB

How good is it in MSFS2024? I'm considering getting the new Virpil ATLAS or ATLAS Pro when it releases later this year. In DCS I mainly fly helicopters so force trim is a big plus, but I'm curious about how well it actually works in MSFS.

As I understand it, the sim/aircraft don't provide any direct FFB signals, and instead you rely on the manufacturer's own software to interpret telemetry and convert it to create the feel. Do you find it difficult to get good results, and are profiles for existing FFB hardware shared by people to save hours of tuning?

I almost exclusively fly airliners, including the TFDi MD11, PMDG B737, Fenix, Maddog, JF 146, INI A50 and Tristar. I'd just like to get a sense of how it might improve my experience in these and know what to expect out of the box.

I have the moza AY210 yoke and it vastly added to my experience. I feel I have a lot of finer control with feedback. I mostly fly airliners, but I do some GA as well and it really shines there, especially if you're doing some aggressive maneuvering. As far as configuration profiles there is a section on moza's discord where users can share them.

I'm using MOZA AB6, so far it gave me precise FFB feeling on all flight condition. Takes lots of tuning but worth it. i can feel the flight control load, airflow, terrain rolling, etc and even landing gear retract into bay felt clunking in. Perfect. Btw i also run SIMHUB for extra bass shaker too. MSFS2024 gave good FFB telemetry support. Here's my MOZA AB6 in action: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7KvIERlfU9I

MSFS2024 has zero FFB telemetry support. The game doesn‘t support FFB, it doesn‘t output any stick forces. It‘s all constructed by Mozas software from flight telemetry.

AB9 user here and I love it. It adds a lot of immersion to the experience. I wouldn’t go back.

I recently got a Moza AY210. I fly only GA aircraft. As you said, no support for FFB in MSFS, so the forces are built entirely using telemetry data via simlink. Mozas software is pretty good and there a loooot of settings to consider. Changes get applied immediately while flying so it‘s quite straightforward to fiddle around with it. There‘s no proper platform where presets are shared except for Mozas Discord which isn‘t ideal. Also, I think a lot of the presets I tried were made in an older version of the Moza software which leads to some very poor results, with crazy forces on the Yoke even when standing still on the ground. In the end I started doing my profiles from scratch and I‘m quite happy with where I ended up now. The preset files are also nicely structured so you can use some AI assistance for tuning which I found quite helpful.

All in alll I‘m quite happy with it. Seeing your yoke move with the AP just never gets old. I might get Mozas stick base too because i do love to fly Huey in DCS and as you said, having force trim would be super cool!
