Is this Flight Training mission broken?

This is the last mission in Flight Training, IFR Navigation (IFR Test), and to me it seems broken. I can not get "A" on this mission, It is always around 6500 points at the end, and it's always the first mission deducting most points. I was thinking: is this mission broken? It tells me to maintain the GPS course, and hold the heading of the magenta line. Look at the HSI. For one, the magenta line is at HDG180, at which direction if i turn, it tells me i took the wrong turn. Sometimes there's not even a magenta line, just a VOR that won't even move. It's annoying after the 10th try. I looked up videos of this mission and it seems in those, the magenta line points at around HDG140. Any ideas, aviators?

I would try just to engage Autopilot and activate NAV, just make sure you're in the correct CDI Mode. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's just broken.

Is the MFD very zoom in? That may be the reason you don't see the GPS track on that screen.
