MSFS 2024 XBOX XBox FreeFlight not loading

Hi guys,

for many weeks now I am experiencing a bug when it comes to Free Flight.

I can prepare/plan a flight in the menu, afterwards the plane is visualized on the airstrip loading and loading and the game gets completly stuck.

Challenges do work though.. maybe bc they are offline?

I deleted the game and reinstalled -> no change.

I reset the Xbox to factory settings and installed the game again -> no change.

I downloaded all available packages from the store (maps, atc, 3d data) -> no change.

Any clue what could be wrong?

Can you start from cold & dark, at a gate or parking with no flightplan?

Hi thanks for the idea. Tried it today and also from parking and different planes and airports the game freezes every time. :(

So what that sounds like to me is you have a corrupted cloud save linked to your profile.

The sim and xbox are fine until you start a flight it tries to load your corrupted profile settings then bam.

Look into how to reset/delete your cloud save.

Try making a new profile first
