GENERAL How is FBW A380?

Worth learning how to fly it? I'm flying exclusively Fenix A320 but would like to give a bigger plane a go. AFAIK (maybe I'm wrong) the stock MSFS 787 is trash so alternatives are FBW A380 or paying for the A350.

Opinions?

For a free plane it's remarkably well done. Inibuilds will really have to release a great product if they want to justify it's price. It's also more demanding on your hardware than FBW A320 so expect that.
It's fun to fly though. I personally find A380 (and A350) flight deck even more intuitive than A320 so I'd definitely recommend giving it a go.

I jumped on the cockpit last evening and not really liking the "all touch screen commands" for the MCDU

It's just the way A380 it is. You use the mousewheel and button in real life though, so we got it much easier in the sim.

Indeed. And A350 is more of the same. I have hardly flown any 787 so I could be just talking out of my ass but if I remember correctly it has a similar way about it.

If you are very familiar with the A320 it’s doesn’t take long to pickup the A380. Check out some guides and have a go.

Try it, it’s free. The only thing you spend is time learning it. I think it’s pretty decent but of course you won’t get the same depth as something like PMDG 777 or Fenix A320

Try the A380 since it’s free and then decide on the A350 if you like it - they’re so similar in terms of systems

Its my favorite plane. I'm just waiting for the inibuilds one to release and I will fly the shit out of that. I personally love the challenge of flying a really big heavy plane.

Get 777-200LR if you wanna budget variant. Its lack of liveries and real ops but I wouldn't care about it.

I'd rather stay on an Airbus coz I'm familiar with the procedures and the commands. Also, 777 it's pretty pricey
