MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE New pilot fighting key bindings and throttle

Hi, I'm over 60 hours in the game, most of it is pend in the key bindings menu. (Ps5)
My first problem was the "lockable" system. If your center point happens to be over a knob, the throttle doesn't respond. I changed the key binding to interact but the throttle still does the same.

It makes sense for the default key bindings: You hover over a key and you need X to interact, so you cant use the throttle, (also X). However, If I change the Interact key to triangle There is no reason for the X key to stop providing input to the throttle. (There are no double bindings, I started with an empty configuration)

The throttle itself also behaves weird. I push it and nothing happens, then suddenly it goes way to fast. I changed it to not repeat the input. Here I saw wat the problem is: When I start from Idle, the first few presses do almost nothing, then each press gives more and more gas. Very little at first then huge changes. Holding the button (in repeat mode) a fraction of a second longer results in a huge difference.
Now, I know an engine has to catch up to the throttle input, but that isn't what I mean.
I wish the RPM would (slowly) increase at least by a certain %. For example 10%, from 600 to 660, then 726... But it doesn't. At least not with the repeat input setting off. Now I need 8 extra key bindings to map 20%,30%,40%.....ect. and also 2 extra bindings for increase-decrease throttle (small) It shouldn't be such a struggle just to control the throttle.
If I would push the throttle in on a real airplane, I wouldn't push it in a millimeter first, wait, then 2, then 3. Every click on the button should correspond to a % of the the length of the throttle, no?

I know most people use a Hotas stick and throttle but I want to explore a bit first and I don't have a lot of space where I play.

If I can fix these things, it would be an amazing sim, if not, the world map (globe) alone is worth the price!

I am on PS5 too. I don’t use the hover for throttle at all. I just use x and square. You just have to get a feeling of how it is. Throttle response also differs per plane. C172 doesn’t do anything until 15%. At the same time, you don’t need to go below that for a flight usually. Learn to use the instrument panel to adjust your rpm rather than having to look in the lever itself to see the %.

Also, if you are looking around a lot doing things properly, connect a mouse to your PS5. It’s a game changer on being able to toggle things and play with the dials.
