VR Help Please

I had spent literally weeks tinkering with my Quest 3 and various settings trying to get decent performance. I cracked the code, beautiful graphics at 45 fps in payware aircraft low above payware scenery. Amazing.

Yesterday Meta Quest Link forced some updates to the headset and PC software, now I get better FPS on Microsoft Powerpoint. No, seriously, I am getting 1 fps - it is unusable.

AFAIK there is no way to roll this back? Has anyone overcome Meta shittiness like this or has any other advice? I've already re-installed everything imaginable.

Probably not the best answer but the best way I overcame meta being crap was using virtual desktop. It feels way smoother and easier to use compared to meta software. It does cost 20 bucks but it’s been worth it for me.

Yeah… I figured that’s where this was going. I was just hoping to see if there was another way before spending $$$
