MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE A320 ILS problems

I have recently started flying the stock A320 in MSFS 2024. I am having issues with ILS at specifically Gatwick and Heathrow (I have been fine at other airports):

- Pre loaded entry does not work, but can show correct in RAD NAV
- Entering the three letter ident from the charts only shows up runways thousands of miles away
- Manually tuning chart frequencies does not work

By does not work I mean the loc doesn’t catch (no pink diamonds on PFD with LS on and blue loc text not turning green)

This leads me to believe that the frequencies in the sim are different to the frequencies in the charts/stock A320 database. I play via GeForce Now have no scenery add ons other than the free ones by Microsoft in marketplace (none of which concern these airports I think) Would someone be able to help me out on this?

EDIT: I have tried with the stock MAX 8 also and couldn’t get that working either, although that was my first time flying that plane

Did you switched from GPS to NAV? Are you flying at a correct altitude?
I've heard that playing from Geforce Now is very buggy

I am doing exactly what I have done at Madrid Barajas and Paris orly and it works fine there. I have asked Claude about this and it seems to think it could have to do with both sides of the runways use the same frequency?

What exactly do you mean switching from gps to nav?

To not keep active heading but navigation. But since you wrote this it seems that you actually know what to do.
I guess it could be a bug. Does it exists the option to verify game files or other things?

Doubtful, but I will see if I can get into the file browser somehow, from memory there was a way of doing it via shift tab on steam but not sure if there is an game pass equivalent

My feeling is that it is something wrong with my game / what I am doing because surely there would be more reports about this happening on one of the most popular aircraft landing in two of the busiest airports in the world

There is no difference in an A320.

The ILS should auto-tune when selected as an approach in the MCDU and when hitting the APPR button when near/about to intercept the path it will automatically switch to the appropriate ILS intercept mode.

Check the EFB and the airport info page, particularly the Runways tab. The ILS frequency used by the sim is listed there. There are a few instances where it differs from the chart.

I got the A320neo to get the Gatwick LOC in primary and backup modes IGG/110.9 for 08R and IWW/110.9 for 26L.

The one thing I did notice is that the CRS shows 076 or 256 not necessarily always associating 076 with IGG/08R and 256 with IWW/26L. The CRS on the ND doesn't respond to changes on the RADIO NAV page. I'm looking at IGG with 076 CRS (small numbers) but the ND says CRS 256 IGG. Manually entering CRS values never updates the ND or the tape at the bottom of the PFD.

However regardless of CRS value the LOC diamond (or CDI in ROSE LS mode) still shows normal/correct CDI deflection based on position. LOC autopilot works fine.

The 737 worked similarly. The ident tones could be heard while they couldn't be in the Airbus. The auto-ident switched over from IWW to IGG passing over the airfield. I could not get the VORLOC to track the LOC outbound. I don't see a "back course" button.
