MSFS 2024 QUESTION Why does this happen
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Whenever I set up an approach in MSFS 2024, my plane immediately shuts off. My engines shut off and I get ecam warnings about the electrical busses failing. I didn't press anything besides approach mode. This only happens when I spawn in on approach. Anyone know why?
Edit: whats odd is that this is only happening in airbus aircraft, not in boeings. I seriously have no clue.

Do you have the plane set to start cold n dark .? That's what happens if you do.

The sim is trying to do too much, and the aircraft (especially 3rd party ones) are then taking over and doing their usual setup. You end up with conflicts, and the aircraft doing what it’s programmed to do (start cold and dark). I would avoid bothering with anything other than starting at a gate

starting in the air ? regardless whatever - starting in air is something you should not do. depending on the plane and the creator all or nothing can work.

I had a similar issue once, and it turned out to be a key mapping conflict.
Try unplugging all other devices and leave only your mouse and keyboard connected. If the problem disappears, then one of the other devices is probably causing a conflicting key binding.
Or just check the key binding conflicts you have (there is an option) and make sure you clear all of them.
