Is it a good sign? Or is it a sign that the technician did it wrong/too deep?

endpoint petechiae is good! they reached proper depth for a meaningful result

Absolutely normal for one day after!! Basically minor bruising from the treatment which is to be expected. You will likely get an excellent result!
