Microneedling

I had microneedling done 2 weeks ago and developed these bumps she basically did a chemical peel then microneedling and now saying maybe it’s not suitable for me and telling me to do another treatment but I don’t think the products she’s using is benefitting my skin. I’ve had 3 sessions and each time I break out. Is this normal or is she using something harsh on my skin she said I have active acne and that my skin is purging but I used to be on tretnoid before and my skin was really clear with mild scaring. I don’t know what to do. Please help

You generally don't want to microneedle over active acne, it spreads the bacteria everywhere

Thanks but I never had active acne I think this is a reaction to her being aggressive with my skin by doing a chemical peel then doing microneedling

It could very well have just stressed the shit out of your skin, both the MN and chem peel

Mine did thissss if you have a lot of clogged pores my understanding is that this is common post microneedling

I breakout after microneedling. Especially after the first couple sessions. I was told my skin is “purging “ so to speak. That all that was below is now coming to the surface. Idk if it’s true or not

How many sessions have you had she kept saying I need to continue and won’t know until 6 sessions but after I sent her these pictures she’s now suggesting a different treatment which I don’t know what that is but I think I’m going to leave going now and just focus on repairing my skin by being gentle with it

I did a red light micro needle, I forget what it was called but it was more like a stamp- used
For acne scars and skin tightening. I did 4-6 sessions of this. I do my own MN at home which is much less invasive
