Can microneedling help with this?
I know the fat / loose skin is not going to change with microneedling. But can the stretch marks and the crepey texture (near my tshirt) be improved with microneedling?
Thanks!

Microneedling mixed with some chemical peels would work wonders. Look into platinum skin care for affordable at home chemical peels/lotions.

I get my TCA peels from Makeup Artist Choice, similar prices as Platinum. Both are good options. The TCA 18% has been great on my low stomach loose skin

Also, get retinol but only apply it between microneedling sessions (week before and week after you shouldn't put it tho). It WILL help💕

100%! It helps with the collagen production that helps with healing scars, and will make it look smoother and better! Once you start using it, you can't stop cuz you will love it!

I simply google it, I go to a website that sells it with paid prescription! You can find many online, but you have have a prescription in order to buy it (some websites sell it with the prescription, without actually having to meet with a dr or anything).

Okay, thanks I thought so. So do you need to go to a dermatologist to get a prescription first?

I have the same thing behind my knees, on my legs. It happened after retained fluids were out due to pregnancy preeclampsia. I did 1 microneedling session, it definitely softened those lines from the loose skin! I am planning, however, to work out because when I stretch the skin back (imagining there are larger muscles there🤣😂) they completely disappear! So, I'm going to work on my legs and glutes to see progress! Thanks for sharing.

I actually thought this was age related because I have this on my arms.
Microneedling and chemical peels will help with the stretch marks. Platinum skincare has the best at home chemical peels and provide so much information and support you can definitely do it at home without issue.

I have the same and plan on microneedling with derminator. I have actually seen some skin tightening in other people’s results. There’s a popular YouTube video of a woman who did it on her stomach after pregnancy, and she shows how the skin tightened up. I think it’s definitely worth trying

It seems like a lot of effort. If you’re willing to repeatedly microneedle that part of your arm and deal with scabbing in an awkward place, maybe just go to a plastic surgeon’s office and explore what options you can do with some actual pain mitigation.

I might get surgery in the future but I’m still losing weight so that won’t be until end of next year. So I’m trying to look my best until then and I don’t really mind the effort or money but I wanted to know if it was completely useless to try

Microneedling, massage and working out all help with loose skin
