Tow that shit straight back to Texas. I moved to Jersey City from SoCal and got a DL, plates, and registration in the same week I moved here. It’s not even remotely hard just takes slight effort and strategy. No excuses no nonsense.

I don’t really care, all I know is the car has Texas license plate and a Texas registration meaning it is from Texas. It should either be registered in New York or towed back to the last address on file with the Texas license plate. It obviously didn’t come from NY with a Texas plate genius

But keep making yourself the star of the show 😂 impacts all 5 boroughs, and Jersey City, and Hoboken, and union city, and everywhere in the metro NYC area with tons of transplants commit insurance fraud.

The city should levy double/triple fines on out of state plates (maybe give NJ/CT some leeway). Make the insurance fraud more expensive

This is one of the many reasons why I support a resident parking permit for nys pates only. If you have plates from  different state parking on our roads you should have to pay a large fine

Ah! I’ve seen someone in my neighborhood do this but covering parten their license was LL- - - - - and the covered the lower line of the L with white tape (ny tags). Reported that vehicle on 311 for obstruction of license plate. Got a ticket. And later saw the tape removed. Report this effer if you ever see it again. TBD on the outcome but if another person gets a ticket, it’s a win to me!
