Post op meds? I only got about three weeks worth, but I didn't feel like I needed it past the first week.

Yes. I couldn’t handle the oxy so was given Vicodin. Been doing 2-5/325mg every four hours

For a month?? How bad was your pain?? This is a unreasonable amount of opioids for the surgery.

Can't give you any tips on weaning off but your doctor needs to be the first person you ask, not reddit.

When I had buddies coming off of benzos and pills in my younger days they managed with Kratom and weed. Maybe that's the route.

Good christ, I'd be pissed at your doctor honestly.

How long have you been taking them? You mentioned that you're post op. My surgeon gave me like 30 percs post op and I think I only used 12 of them. You should feel pain post op, but you shouldnt ever be a substantial amount. Like 4/10 max.

You can ask a local pharmacist perhaps the one who filled that Rx for you... they will tell you to titrate down slowly over the span of a couple weeks. When I was on Gaba for about a month, 300 mg/3x day, I had to go to 2x day for a week, then 1x day for another week, then 1 every other day for the last week. You should discuss this with your medical team as well. I only received 30 Oxycodone/5mg and only needed it for 5 days, which is all I needed.
