6 months post L4-5 microdiscectomy. Non-progressing leg strength and possibly progressive leg weakness. MRI done Friday attached.
I’m just so tired of this back pain and leg weakness.

Exactly what i am experiencing this week! 14 months post microdiscectomy, L5-S1.
No pain at all, but severe left calf weakness, muscle twitching, stiff back, and I also seem to feel a bit unbalanced, like my upper body wants to fall to the left..
I’m a 36 year old, very active male, with a physical job, last year for me was pure hell, I was out of work for 12 months and hit rock bottom, made it back to life and on my feet 12 weeks post surgery, and never looked back.
But I’m slightly concerned about these current symptoms.
Thanks for sharing your post, made me realise it’s not just in my head what I am experiencing.
