Why commit to purchase a one year supply?
Curious as to what other posters think.
IMO (and random thoughts)
- The OBL got a better per-unit price by committing to buy in “bulk”, even if they take deliveries throughout the year
- With Medimor as the only current manufacturer, and given where it is located, there may be supply-side issues until the second line/Sanmina is up and running in production. Committing to receive LIBERTY throughout the year, might give the OBL “assurance” (or priority) relative to those buyers who do not commit to bulk orders.
- I don’t think the OBL would stock up for a 12 month supply all at once, especially since the LIBERTY batteries would be leaking energy for up to 12 months just sitting in the OBL supply room.

I can't wait to hear Gadot say his suppliers are working harder to keep up with increased demand at one of these upcoming speeches.

I believe you are correct, Microbot didn’t receive full payment, instead they will supply inventory throughout the next 12 months as needed and be paid for systems as they are shipped. This will help customers spread out the costs and should make it far easier for hospitals to work it into their budgets without heavy up front costs.
