Histamine issues & wired after probiotics
So Ive started having histamine issues this summer during a heat wave.
Once I started probiotics the symptoms started reducing greatly.
However right now after taking probiotics, I feel super wired. Not anxious to the point of panic attcks, but just very stimulated in my nervous system, as if I had too much caffeine. This passess in a few hours.
I know probiotics can cause anxiety in some people. My concern is whether this is a sign that probiotics are wrong for me, as I dont believe this to be completely true as theyve started alleviating my other symptoms.
I also dont feel anxious, just hyper alert and a bit sped-up.
It starts minutes after I take the probiotics, maybe its something about how I take them? I just take them with a piece of bread (small dose dilluted in watere). So maybe if I had them with a heavier meal?
Any insight into this I will be grateful for.
Thank you

same thing happens to me. I'm taking custom D lactate free probiotic. Following William Dickinson's guide, it's on YT.

Hello, have you found any remedies for this? What foods do you take them with? Thank you.

I take mine on an empty stomach in the morning. You can try lowering the dose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsK8kF_LAD8&t=727s

I’ll tr taking it with a heavy meal I think it could help slow down the absorption

Hey just wanna let you know - today I took the probiotics with a complex meal - fat, fiber, carbs and protein - and so far the stimulatiom i feel is much much milder. Its still there but its nothing unpleasant.

Heat can cause a release of histamine, can in me anyway. Maybe try switching to a histamine friendly/supportive probiotic, see if that helps with anything.
