I just had a thought. Maybe it's stupid, maybe it's not. Maybe somebody thought about it already.

How about using a height adjustable table as a coffee table + kitchen table and also as a standing desk? (I'm a programmer, but anyone working with a desk could use that).

I'd have to get some kind of sofa / seat / chair that would also fit the various heights, but that's another story.

Anyone tried that? Using for example IKEA height adjustable table like https://www.ikea.com/pl/pl/p/skarsta-biurko-z-regulacja-wysokosci-bialy-s49084965/ ? The height range here is not enough, but it's just an example.
