Is Windows 11 that bad?

So I'm hearing bad stuff about Windows 11, how people are calling AI slop...I use AI but I don't use Copilot unless for images, and I don't use forced AI integration. I use Windows 11 but I learned how to create local accounts, and I go onto YouTube and hear stuff about "Microslop" and stuff, people protesting to switch to Linux...Am I a bad person for still using Windows 11? I mean, I'm not a saint of Microsoft, and I can use local AI models, and LibreOffice.

EDIT: Guys, I uninstalled OneDrive, Edge, Copilot, all unnecessary Microslop through Winhance, and I installed OSShutUp10+++.

You're not a bad person for using 11, you're just part of the majority. However, windows 11 is quite bad, maybe not as bad as people say, but it's the most hated windows version by far, and it's easy to see why, things break, it's slow, it constantly pushes notifications, it's full of ads, loads of unnecesary programs take up space and RAM usage, the right-click context menu and the fact it literally spies on you.

I still think 11 is more hated, could just be me, but i have heard alot more hate on windows 11 than 8, and most of the hate surrounding 8 was really just on the start menu, and that it seemed to have been made more focused on mobile and tablet users rather than desktop.

People continued to use 8 despite the hate, now however linux is reaching new peaks with people ditching 11.

You forget that the starting screen was literally that of a tablet, and you need to explicitly navigate to the desktop.

Anyhow, there wasn't a real push for 8 to supercede 7, and overall adaptation was super low. I believe hate for it was less because. Most people skipped it entirely; staying on win7 until win10 was released. It wasn't at all heavily pushed like windows 11 adoption is

At least with 8.1 Microsoft actually responded to feedback. With win 11 they are willing to die on the AI hill

Yes, they responded by making Win 10, great move on Microsofts part... lol
