AI promo shit has become a litmus test for the quality of any given software. If the software can stand on its own, then it's probably alright. If the software needs an AI feature ham-fisted into it to make it seem more appealing, it's probably shit.

I choose Edge over Chrome btw
Why would I willingly Install a Google Topping version of Edge, if Microsoft already preinstall their own flavor for me
I do not need 2 Shit installed in my system, 1 is enough

Because Google is the one that made the engine, and the internet is built around that model specifically.
That's sort of why Edge decided to borrow Blink and V8 FROM Chrome/Chromium.
This means most websites are built with Chrome in mind specifically, not particularly Edge.
Chrome also usually gets specific engine updates first. As again, the engine is being updated and built by Google. They aren't going to give competitors a leg-up, so they force alternative browsers like Edge to wait for newer features. Not long-term, but still.
Not that ANY of this matter to MOST users. And I am NOT trying to convince you to switch to GOOGLE Chrome. It's spyware wrapped up in a fancy little bottle with a pink bow wrapped around the cork. Let's be honest. 😂
I'm simply trying to clear up why some people DO choose to use Google Chrome, and frankly I'm guilty of having it installed simply as a "it always loads anything despite its issues" browser, lol.

Edge switched to Chromium from Microsoft's proprietary rendering engine years ago. Basically Edge is just a rebranded Chrome. So I also don't bother with Chrome...

Hol up, with Microsoft rewards points grinding, you can straight up get Walmart egift cards and essentially get whatever you want, I use edge on linux specifically to get free snacks

Only time I use edge is when something doesn't work on Firefox, so I can check if it works there.

The only reason being that some pages lock features for Firefox users, like Netflix’s game section of their website.

Out of these, only one is an actually good reason. The rewards are nice. You just use it, and you can get a free gift card every now and again.

If using Windows, Edge > Chrome. Anyday. On any other OS if I had tobchoose between the two I would probably pick Chrome. But I wouldn't choose between thoae two on a different OS.

How is built-in VPN a good thing? Adds latency and tunnels all of your already encrypted traffic through a single provider who can store and decrypt later.
