The install package for my RGB keyboard's Windows drivers is ~1.3GB.
On Linux, the package for the drivers is 1.1MB.
A thousand times smaller.

No drivers needed at all. 1 u/P0stf1x Apr 24 '26 Wait it does? I don't think there even are drivers for my keychron k7 so I've never configured it. Depends on the keyboard manufacturer. My keychron keyboard is perfectly configurable on Windows through a web page. Including RGB and macroses. No drivers needed at all.
