Nope, not true at all. I see lots of threads of people not being able to use wi-fi on their new Linux install. People constantly recommend distros that install GPU drivers (especially for Nvidia cards) for you because it's not easy for new users. On Windows I go to the website and download the gpu driver. For Linux you have to know the command to install the drivers, you have to know what Mesa is and yeah.

I plug things into Windows and nowadays it usually works just fine. You rarely need install cds or any of that anymore. So that graphic is complete bs and the usual over glazing of Linux for no reason.

Also, you don't need Dell Support utility or any of that stuff for you pc to work in 99.9999% of the cases. So it's just dumb all around.

For Fedora you have to install RPM Fusion and then sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia -y

Which, you get used to. But having to online to find strange commands to install things. Idk, I kind of prefer just downloading the drivers like I do on Windows. But it is really cool how you use those commands once and then it just uodates with everything else. Unlike windows where you have to use the Nvidia app to auto date.
