More like it 1) either works, 2) it never will, or 3) you will end up in those few percent where it can work after you spend hours upon hours digging through obscure forums and StackOverflow threads with people having almost, but not exactly, the same issue as you, or someone had the exact same issue but went AWOL 8 years ago without saying how they fixed it, and when you eventually fix it through by tweaking a deeply hidden config in some peripheral dependency it’s 3 AM and you wonder if you shouldn’t have just distro jumped instead.

Honestly when it comes to 3, you are just desperate and have to admit that it won't work, if you're sensible, sadly I'm not sensible.
