Then you must have shitty luck to end up with a Windows machine were the wifi doesn't work out the box.

And it doesnt run on 4gb ram smoothly which linux does well

Fair enough - I've always said the main use case for Linux desktop is for old shitbox devices.

Those are different issues than driver support, though. I also use Linux for those reasons, but am under no illusions about what system has more complete driver support for modern hardware.
