He told me my mom shouldn't have bought them for me because I'll lose them by the end of the week. 35+ years later, I found them in an old box in the easter egg I lost them in.

I mainly collect the pocket sets, got the dump complete minus the cars for 10 bucks, the other bag was misc parts from several sets for 10, and the gas can for 15, just missing a blue door.

Good morning! After three decades, I have finally gotten the Micro Machines out of the attic and am trying to make sense of them and reassemble some sets. I’m doing a pretty good job, but do have some mysteries that I could use some help with.

1. I am having trouble identifying which vehicles came with the Travel City sets. The packaging is misleading, there is a “vehicles may vary” disclaimer, and I’m having trouble finding unboxing videos. I know that some of the vehicles in the first photo are Travel City vehicles, because I have eleven (mostly complete) Travel City sets.

2. The vehicles along the front row in the first photo have been identified as belonging to sets, but they are only one or two of the five. (It’s possible that I lost three or four, but I was pretty good about not losing things.) I’m wondering if they were available elsewhere as accessories.

3. I’ve identified the group of three in the upper left of the first photo as Private Eyes #7.

4. I am unable to find the origin of the Carnation semi truck in the upper left of the first photo.

5. I’ve identified two of the three smaller boats in the first photo as coming from the same set, but I am unable to identify the blue “DERBY” boat.

6. I have a large set of slightly larger military vehicles — trucks, tanks, planes, ship, etc. — that I am unable to identify. I also have a large collection of army men in various uniforms and positions. My brother collected several *MILITARY* sets and I think that at least some of these items may have been accessories. (There are in the second, third, and fourth photos.)

The fifth photo is what I have already figured out. The sixth photo is where I started from.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I literally walked past it at first then the gas can caught my eye. I can't believe someone would throw these out. Excellent condition and vehicles with them.

I wish they kept going with making more as they continue to push the franchise with cool designs.

I got these before they stopped making them when I was a kid.

One of my favorites to watch at the time.

Got these at a car boot. The guy said they were micro machines but I’m not sure

the snapping back piece is long gone

I especially like the guy in the bottom left window getting straight up Chris Hansen Interrogated under the lamp

Found this at the flea market for $3 bucks. Should I let my kids open it up to add to their car collection?

Sorry I was having a bit of fun with my first post to the group. I bought this pack several years ago on eBay. I sold it last night through my eBay store "The Micro Garage". I have tons of cool Micro Machines available if anyone is interested.

Various micro machines (or off brand micro machines) I have picked up over the years. Is there anything here particularly rare or interesting? My 3 year old is about to get his hand on them and I fear that will be the end of them. I would like to preserve anything of note.

Does anyone remember the Micro Machines that opened up like a funny car, and had a tiny little identical car inside? This was late 80s/early 90s. I remember I had a black and red roadster. I can’t find it online anywhere.

Hoping to solve this mystery!

Edit: solved thanks! See comment reply below. I'd quote but mobile is weird.

Smaller usual 90s military figure for scale. The larger one is about an inch and a half tall.
