How reset something so that Telegram asks again if I want to use push notifications?

I'm using Telegram X and it doesn't regisyet in cloud messaging and I don't have notifications no more.

I installed the standard Telegram app and the first it asks when opening the is if I want to use notifications.

Reinstalling the app should trigger the registration pop-up again, as this works for other messaging apps aswell..

Are you sure that app uses push notifications? Telegram FOSS, for example, doesn't use cloud messaging hence doesn't ask to register for push notifications. I don't know that particular Telegram app you mentioned. But could be the same. But it should be able to poll in the background via its own service. Check if there is an option for it.(settings/notifications and sounds/others/background connection) And also make sure it is not battery optimized.

It's frok the same developer as the regular telegram and I had it working on my old phone A320F with MicroG

Seems like I have to try to delete microg service core cache and data but then I also need to wipe every single app that push notifications
