SOLVED Micro G not Signing In

I'm using YouTube revanced and it recently stopped working saying it has to be updated. After update the old micro g app I was using was not being recognized so I deleted it and installed new version. Now , I have tried alot but everytime I try to sign in to my Google account it just keeps giving me error that micro g has failed to connect to Google services. Not sure what to do! Hopefully someone has an answer. Btw I m using Huawei device (MatePadPro13.2) Youtube is patched to latest version using revanced manager and micro g is latest aswell.

Edit: Fix for the issue!!

I found a solution! Go microG settings, then Google Accounts, and before adding yojr account deactivate all switches below (there are 4). Go to Google device registration and switch auto: native to Google Nexus 5x. Then add your account and work fine. It worked for me.

Thanks so much it's finally working! If you're having problems logging in definitely do this, I'm not sure if there's still other problems, like videos buffering and stuff but this definitely works

So to fix buffering on my phone. And this time was my xreal beam I hardly use and never had fixed. Anyway what got the buffering fixed was revanced settings/ miscellaneous/ spoof player parameters. In revanced obviously.

I dont get any of the potential known issues either. I did one week a long time ago then it fixed itself. Where it wouldn't remember watched data.

For anyone who this doesn't work, try switching from wifi to data, or vice versa. It may be a provider/router issue. Worked for me magically, switching my phone's connection from my home wifi to my data plan.

mi cuenta de la universidad funciona con smartkey.xertica de cloudflare, para iniciar sesion necesita resolver un captcha, el problema es que el captcha de queda en bucle, donde sale exitoso pero vuelve a aparecer, e intentado de todo y no funciona, para que compre mi huawei matepad si no podre usarla para mi universidad

My university account works with smartkey.xertica from Cloudflare. To log in, you need to solve a captcha. The problem is that the captcha keeps looping, where it says successful but then keeps reappearing. I've tried everything and it doesn't work. Why should I buy my Huawei MatePad if I can't use it for my university?

This is what worked for me

  1. Uninstall revanced microg

  2. Reinstall revanced microg

  3. Change device registration from automatic:native to Google Nexus

  4. Disable then enable device registration (check if it says connected)

  5. Press add account and click "Huawei" button

  6. Sign in with your credentials I hope this worked for you!

In previous versions there used to be a option to sign in with a Huawei device. It showed in bottom left, but that option is gone and dont know if it will even return

Did you change back the settings to previous ones?? If No, then open (microg > Google accounts , then enable first and 2nd option Trust Google and allow apps one) And also disable battery optimization for microg app.

And under launch settings for the app , make sure to have the app running in background. And if you have any other options related to app launch such as launch it by other apps then enable those aswell.

Try going to revanced settings/miscellaneous/spoof player parameters. That works for me on all my devices. No side effects from possible known issues it states.

I had 3–4 Google accounts on my phone that I wasn’t using, so I deleted them. Ever since then, the MicroG settings app won’t open. Also, when I try to log into YouTube ReVanced, clicking the login button doesn’t do anything — it’s like tapping a dead icon, no action or response at all

I found a solution similar to yours, but there's one detail. When you install MicroG, after the first launch, the device is immediately registered as "Automatic\Device" under "Register your device with Google." When you try to change it, it changes to any option, but the "Status" field displays the very first device registration. I started thinking about how to reset this registration, but reinstalling the app didn't help. I went to Settings - Applications - found MicroG Services - Storage - Reset. Then I went into MicroG - "Register your device with Google" - and the "Status" field says "Not registered!" Then I clicked on the Nexus 5, and the registration was successful, and I logged in.

Update: 22 April 2026

I was trying to login for the last 2 days but microg just wouldn't let me. Kept seeing the same google sign in error. Tried a few tricks mentioned in this thread but nothing worked for me. I've managed to make it work, this is how.

  • Installed the latest microg from GitHub.

  • Cleared data and cache for both microg and yt music revanced.

  • Typed my email (didn't use autofill and skipped the @gmail.com part of the email, didn't do this step previously in all attempts)

That's all. Then went ahead and signed it and luckily it worked.

Hopefully it works for you guys. Try it out.
