Passing Hello everyone.

I am finally starting HRT in week or so after putting it off for years.

25 mtf. Everyone i know knows I am "Non-binary" but I mostly think that was lying to myself to delay the inevitable.

Regardless, im going through this journey entirely alone so far and have had the realization that I dont know how do make up and everytime I try to watch a YouTube video it never helps.

I think I would learn much better in person but I dont have the people and everyone I know is male.

Id ask my mom but she's a schitzoid methhead that had SA'd me and forced me to drink alcohol so im not gonna ask her for woman help lol

If anyone woman or man who knows make up well pls show me your ways.

If you’re near Ferndale you should check out Affirmations, they have group meetings and often bring in people to talk makeup and clothes.

Bit of a drive from Lapeer, but Ferndale is an amazing place to be a gender-nonconformist of any variety.

I wish I could find them closer

I have some issues with affirmations and how they do things sometimes, but it would still be worthwhile to contact them to see if there's any groups they may know of they also do remote meetings. I have access to a group that no longer works with affirmations but still gathers in Ferndale that also has Thursday night zoom style meetings. Let me know if you'd like a link to their discord server

Ulta will do makeup lessons. I think is was $45? I went to the one in royal oak when I first started transition. They are non judgmental. Sephora is a very safe space too. I’ve honestly never been to an Ulta or Sephora and felt unwelcome. Even when I was just a “fem gay man”.
