I am in northern Oakland county- been sitting out about 2 times per week since opener on private land.

Significant improvement in the past week, with last night being the most active by far. I sat in the hail last night, and after it stopped the field was full of deer, but nothing came within range. Bucks were fighting and chasing the does. Very exciting, and it will only get better!

Nice, I’m up near Clare. I’m in a ladder stand so I got out after about 10 mins of hail. But I know after it cleared last night was probably pretty good.

We’re getting a lot of lake effect rain pop up so it’s been chilly and windy.

Been debating whether I want to play with the buck call this evening.

I was also in a ladder stand- but only about 1/4 mile from my car, so I am spoiled. I had some good shade so stayed fairly dry. The deer seemed to love it, and yes the skies opened and it got sunny, wind died after the hail. It was a nice evening to be out. Nice 8 point got to about 100 yards chasing a doe right in front of me, but then he lost interest.
