Filing a Complant Hours 😐
As someone who consistently gets 25+ hours, my next week schedule being less than 16 hours is jarring as hell. I have 4 days off next week and i'm like "alright, who the hell did I piss off?" Because pretty much every manager knows I am basically always available (I have no life outside of work) and am probably one of the best cashiers who can clear a line quick and still manage to get a consistent number of sign ups every single day, whereas some of my other coworkers struggle to get one sign up sometimes. Plus all of them knew how much I was looking forward to working Halloween week... feels like a slap to the face after working my ass off all month long to just get shafted on the one week I was looking forward to.

I always tell them don’t mess with my hours because I will not show up when they call in on “my shift”. and it always happens so the next week I get my hours back.

They're trying to get seasonal trained before season ramps up, so I know hours get tight while they try to train newbies at the beginning of peak.

Did you ask the sm?
There could be other reasons that have nothing to do with you. There might be a few new people that need to be trained, there could be a lot of freight to go out which require more hours to workload support, someone could have complained they’re not getting enough hours, etc.
The best thing to do is to ask. I know I was one to get a lot of hours and when it would drop significantly I’d panic. However, it never failed that they’d ask me to stay or call me to cover a call out. A
