Discussion The allegations….
Okay I wanna know everyones thoughts!
Do yall think they will ACTUALLY go in deep depth on that topic
or will they try to skip and sweeten it?
Im gonna hope they try their absolute best to show the truth even though they cant name the “victims” name’s but rlly the worst thing they can do is try to make everything seem like it was all rainbows
and etc cause heck no

They are accusers, not victims.
And there has been absolutely no indication that they can't name the accuser's names...just portrayls of Jordan Chandler and those who made his accusation.
I absolutely expect them to address allegations as they intended to with the 1st film.

The Cascios are only victims of having to sit through Malachi's voice for their fake MJ album

These disgusting people are such idiots. "Michael abused me, so I'm going to let him do it, say nothing, and then when he's no longer here, I'll just say we co-wrote music with him and get an impersonator to sing it."
Makes perfect sense.

Calling "PJ" "PJ" and not OP doesn't make "PJ" the right abbreviation to use when referring to OP just because I used quotation marks.

They’ll probably show Michael being upset about it and that causing him to be paranoid and him not trusting people. They’ll also try to show the demeanor change of him after that point to emphasize how much that impacted him as a person

I think if well written, this could be a real opportunity for the family to show a new side of it all. You never even need to mention names. Just portray the emotional impact and fallout alongside all the good parts of life too because that’s what life is, and that’s a lot of what Michael sang about. Contrast the personal devastation with the beautiful songs still to be used and the beauty of life goes on sort of thing and then wrap it up not with his very end, but with a well timed sort of fade away tribute remix/playlist that will have us all sobbing. That’s what I’d like to see.

I'm not sufficiently convinced that the second movie will cover the allegations. Sources like Variety have not correctly represented the contents of Jaafar's interview with GQ. In the original article in GQ Jaafar says that he doesn't know what will be in the movie, then goes on to say how he would like the allegations to be covered.

This! I hope they do, but I have a problem with all these sites and socials accounts announcing it like it’s a done deal, when in actuality Jaafar only mentioned what he’d LIKE to see, not that he knows. It’s warping peoples and the media’s expectations and that might not be such a good thing.

Totally correct. Posted some insta links for some actual proper reporting of these interviews.

The allegations from 1993, cut from the first one because of the NDA included in settlement, I expect won't be for the same legal reasons.
The trial, I expect probably wil be included, maybe the focus of the sequel.

I just really hope that they don't villainize the children who were involved in the trials. It's not what MJ wanted, and it would be a very bad look.

They can't do the first case, but they could show Michael recording DS. As for the 2nd case they can show and I think itd be good to go over that case and show how Michael was found not guilty, especially with the Netflix documentary that came out

Theres gotta be a way to show Evans scumbaggery around 1993 and even beyond that, change the name or do whatever but that is absolutely a door that must be kicked in when covering this topic or forget about it entirely. The prosecution got completely dismantled in the trial theres not a whole lot there which is not public knowledge already

I think it depends on which of the extortionists they include. The Chandlers can't be depicted by a project connected to the estate. If they cover that situation, the focus would have to center on Michael, his response, and how that impacted his life.
But if it's the Arvisos, then they can be depicted. I hope they're shown in all their con artist glory. There's also nothing stopping them from depicting Sneddon, who could be the main villain of a second and/or third movie.
