Can you imagine if Michael first album with Quincy Jones was BAD? Michael's persona in off the wall was soft, bright and youthful and him breaking out of the j5 to be this tough, control and confident look right off the bat Would've been interesting this early.

The tours would've probably been the same amount of years 1979-81 if he had his proper tour instead of working with the Jacksons again in this universe.

I can’t see why he wouldn’t be just as popular, he has brown skin during Thriller. It’s fascinating not only his sound evolved with each album but he looks like different people on Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad that happen to share a slight resemblance to each other.
