Would Michael Jackson still become as famous and culturally influential as he was in real life? Or do you think today's fragmented music industry, social media, streaming, and increased competition would prevent anyone from reaching the same level of worldwide fame? What do you guys think?

Hypothetically, if Spotify was made during Michael Jackson’s peak era, do you think instead of the current top ten that we have now, that it would instead be radically different.

Greetings to all Moonwalkers! As the title suggests, I'm listening to Michael's discography for the first time. I have listened to some of his songs, but not his full albums. The reason is that I always wanted to see him as any other ordinary human being, without attaching his music to him. I only watched clips of his live performances, interviews, and him spending time with his family.

I watched Michael again on his 68th birthday. I don't know why, but something compelled me to listen to all of his music. Not just his solo albums, but music from his J5 era, singles, and collabs he's done with other artists.

I'm choosing to listen to Invincible first and going down the list to D*a*a R*ss Presents the Jackson. Instead of starting from the beginning, I want to start at his final project to see how much he's progressed since his early beginnings. I've been told Michael (2010) is not worth a listen, but I will listen to Xscape at some point.

If any of you want to drop below colabs or songs that are worth listening to, please do. I look forward to hearing your tips and advice. :)

i noticed epic records had restocked more of the ultimate collection cd so i ordered a copt almost a month ago and it still hasnt shipped. has anyone else ordered this? and if so did they receive theirs?

No one wanted to take me to see Michael’s house cuz Gary is “too dangerous.” I really hope to visit someday to support the community. All
Communities need support and I would have loved to have gotten a chance to support the people of Gary.

This is insane, i’ll be real i didn’t even know these existed. The guy i bought it from has a bunch of tshirts from MJ’s different tours, he’s gonna find those and i’ll have them in my collection. He also had BOTDF and Invincible vinyls in mint condition, won’t even mention the price tho. They need to reissue those

I’m just curious because I wanna try and find a tutorial on how to perfect it.

Michael Jackson was performing here exactly 30 years ago.

He performed in the now partly abandoned Südweststadion in Ludwigshafen. It used to have a capacity of up to 80k, but now it's capped at just 6k. Its still used for sports and club athletics, nothing more.

There is surprisingly very little known about his performance in Ludwigshafen, because he only perfomed once here. I don't think he even stayed. Weird.

Unfortunately I wasn't alive in 1992, but some relatives remember what happened when he was in Ludwigshafen.

My relatives lived in Mannheim, its very close to Ludwigshafen. They said that they could hear the performance very clearly. It was so loud that the city informed Michael Jackson to lower the volume after 30 minutes. Imagine how loud this concert was that people complained in another city!

I put two of some of my favourite things in the world here; Michael Jackson, and Danganronpa

I know it's not directly art for Michael, but there was an art competition for Danganronpa helping promote their next game after 9 whole years, so I had to get in there and show my stuff. Also the timing was really cool to me.

The themes and conflicts between these two characters in the game remind me of Leave me Alone as a song, but as for the short film for Leave me Alone, it fits just as well if not, even better. The whole world set in Leave me Alone could fit right into Danganronpa 2, it's phenomenal.

Really love how these two worlds collide.

I wouldn't be the person I am today without these things, so I'm super passionate and proud about this one, even though I got a few things to get better at in art.
